New Earth Chocolate. This is How We Make It at Home

  • 2 T raw cacao powder
  • 2 T sweetener of your choice, such as coconut flower/date sugar OR Maple/Agave syrup
  • A pinch of Himalayan salt
  • 3 T raw cacao butter or raw coconut oil, melted
  • ¼ t vanilla seeds
  • Nuts of your choice, chopped (almonds, walnuts, pistachios, pecans, cashews, macadamias, etc.)

 Combine cacao powder with salt, vanilla and sweetener. Add the melted cacao butter or coconut oil. Mix well.

When the chocolate fluid of life is ready, lovingly pour it into the little round forms to create the baskets. Place them in the refrigerator for no longer then ten minutes to semi harden.

While waiting, prepare the nuts and design your creations, giving it loving thought. Get the chocolate baskets out and fill them up with nuts any way you wish. This is your chance to chocolate rock-n-roll.

Transfer back to the refrigerator for another 30 minutes.

A tip: Little mint leaves, stripes of orange peel, cacao nibs, dried or fresh flowers, shredded coconut, edible gold flakes, and much more can be used to make this creation absolutely rock.

Tools: glass, bowls, imagination

Ingredients for the layers of one dessert:

-         1 T Thai basil or chia seeds soaked in 2/3 cup water

-         1 T coconut milk

-         1 T fresh, organic beet juice

 

Ingredients for raw chocolate sauce:

-         1 T raw agave or yacon syrup

-         1 t still mineral water

-         1,5 T raw cacao powder

Step 1: Soak Thai basil/Chia seeds. Set aside for 20 minutes.

Step 2: In a bowl, combine the sweetener, water and coconut oil, add cacao powder to make the chocolate sauce. Mix well and set aside.

           Step 3: Add the coconut milk and beet juice to the soaked Thai basil (or Chia) seeds.

 

            Step 4: Put a few spoons of the purple mixture into the bottom of the glass. Shake it gently to let it set evenly.

            Step 5: Add the chocolate layer now.

            Step 6:  Repeat.

  Use your beautiful imagination to make it look as yummy as it tastes. Cacao nibs, already made raw chocolates, flowers or greens. 

Let this decadent, luscious dessert rest in the refrigerator for a few hours.
